Ensemble Perpetuo have collaborated with composer, Cheryl Frances-Hoad, poet Kate Wakeling, musicians from Song Spiel and shadowgrapher Drew Colby on a production of The Thought Machine. Completed as part of a residency at METAL in Peterborough, this is a song cycle based on poems by Kate Wakeling which was premiered as part of the Oxford Lieder Festival in 2016.
Following workshops at artsdepot in North Finchley as part of our inaugural ColLABorator Sessions, Ensemble Perpetuo collaborated with the wonderful Song Spiel and Drew Colby who brought the stories to life with his unique shadow puppetry.
Below are a selection of photographs from our last few days and we hope to be presenting a run of performances throughout the UK in 2019/20 which we will be announcing in the coming months.
