BEYOND THE NOTES: PETER MAXWELL DAVIES

7:30pm, 28th November 2016. The Forge, Camden

Ensemble Perpetuo introduces composer PETER MAXWELL DAVIES through chamber music spanning his long and illustrious career. Taking you from his earliest printed string quartet through to one of his last completed works, the programme will also include renaissance music that inspired and influenced him, and the London premiere of Alasdair Nicolson’s Magnus III, a work written in memory of ‘Max’.
